Ralph W. Linroth railroad papers, 1970-2006.

Papers of Ralph W. Linroth, a resident of Knox County, Illinois and 37-year employee of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad. Linroth authored the book "A History of the CB&Q Illinois Pea Vine: The Galesburg to Savanna Branch." The CB&Q Railway became part of the Burlington Northern Railroad Company in 1970; the Burlington Northern Railroad Company became the BNSF Railway in 1995. The collection includes Burlington Northern and BNSF time tables and special instructions from the 1970s-2000s, a map of the railroad's yard in Galesburg, IL, and plat maps of the Western Illinois region.
