Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1780-1795.

Tall-case clock. The hood has a pagoda top with pierced fretwork and three turned finials, a molded arch above the door, fluted columns at the front corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with cove molding, fluted quarter columns at the front corners and a case door with an astragal top. Stepped base with cove molding at the top and ogee molding at the bottom. Engraved dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, engraved foliate ornament in the spandrels, and a moon phase dial in the lunette. Inside the chapter ring there is a seconds dial, a calendar aperture, engraved foliate ornament and the inscription "Daniel Burnap East Windsor." Eight day movement.
