Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1779-1805.

Tall-case clock. The hood has a broken-scroll pediment with three turned urn-and-spire finials, a molded arch above the door, sidelights with arched tops, free-standing fluted columns at the front corners, and a case door with an astragal top. Waist with cove and ogee moldings at the top, fluted quarter columns at the front corners, and a case door with a shaped serpentine top. Base with cove and ogee moldings at the top, and ogee molding at the bottom. Engraved dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, engraved ornament in the spandrels, and a moon phase dial in the lunette. Inside the chapter ring there is a seconds dial, a calendar aperture, engraved ornament, and an inscription with the maker's name. Eight day movement.
