Tall case brass dial clock, 1760-1770.

Tulip poplar tall-case clock. The hood has a molded flat pediment with three-quarter engaged columns and a glazed circular door with a molded edge. Waist with cove molding at the top and a rectangular case door. Base with molding at the top, and ogee molding at the bottom. Engraved brass dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, an engraved seconds dial and the inscription "David Rittenhouse Norriton." Thirty hour movement.
