Tall case brass dial clock, 1765.

Walnut tall-case clock with cove and ogee molded flat pediment with raised and molded sarcophagus top with pierced fretwork, three wooden ball-and-spire finials on fluted plinths, turned three-quarter columns at the front corners, turned quarter columns at the back corners, and a glazed door with a square opening. Waist with cove molding and a rectangular case door. Base with cove and ovolo moldings at the top, ovolo moldings at the bottom and supported on ogee bracket feet. Composite brass dial with applied chapter ring with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, applied cast decoration in the spandrels. Inside the chapter ring there is engraved ornament and a calendar aperture. The dial is signed "George Miller Germantown." Eight day movement.
