A manual in five books, with table and diagrams (one on p. 72 with movable parts), including instructions in the four branches of judicial astrology: general predictions, nativities, elections and horary questions. On p. 84 and elsewhere the author cites the chief astrologers he has consulted, e.g. Haly Abbas, Guido Bonatti, Claude Dariot, Cyprianus Leovitius, Thomas Bretnor, Dr. Fludd and others. Pages 1-50 are taken from Robert Fludd's Utriusque cosmi . . ., 1617-1621, I, 567 et seq, slightly rearranged and translated; some of the next fifty pages is taken from C. Dariot's A brief . . . introduction to the astrological judgment of the stars . . . 1598. On p. 129 an added note is dated 1638. Also, the front endleaves contain a list of over 120 names with small sums, presumably clients and their payments.
