John Everard's English translation of Theologia Germanica, Antwerp 1558, being a Latin translation by John Theophilus (i.e. Sébastien Châteillon) from the original "high dutch." The work circulated much in manuscript before its first English edition in 1648, as Theologia Germania or mystical divinitie (Wing T858). Preceded by a translation of [De dato Patris luminum, by Nicholas of Cusa], 1632.
