Mrs. Fitzhugh was the sister of Gov. William Clark and George Rogers Clark. Ann Clark Thurston Farrar was the wife of Dr. Bernard G. Farrar, 1784-1849, first American physician to settle permanantly west of the Mississippi River and a founder of the Saint Louis Medical Society, and was the mother in law of Governor S.T.
