Sending him "an account of arears of rent that were due to me at our Lady day last" and a "warrant for distraining on Mary Cooke if she has not paid you before it comes to your hands"; complaining about other tenants; noting that he is sending Mrs. Lyde "a piece of plate"; asking Lyde to distribute 20 shillings of bread to the poor of Pensford every Christmas.
