Autograph letter signed : London, to Cornelius Lyde, 1697 Oct. 19.

Telling Lyde that he received the copy of the accounts he sent; noting that he will not be able to go over them until he is back in the country; saying that if Hanny will not pay "he must be sued"; discussing the lease for Francis Carpenter and Lyde's son's visit from Holland. A postscript adds, "The peace was proclaimed here today."
