Collection includes snapshots and portraits of Philip Lamantia taken throughout the poet's lifetime. Also includes photographs of his parents Nunzio and Mary Lamantia and other family members; of his wife Nancy Peters; of poets Michael McClure and Lawrence Ferlinghetti; and of various locations where Lamantia lived, such as San Francisco, Mexico City, and Nerja (Spain). Also includes photographs of various assemblages by Bruce Conner, and original surrealist and psychedelic drawings by various artists.

1 box and 11 oversize folders (ca. 350 photographic prints and 7 drawings) and ca. 65 negatives : b&w and color ; various sizes.
