Lucinda Howard diary, 1911.

Daily record of a married woman living with her married daughter in Thompson, Connecticut. She recorded mail received, weather, visitors, laundry and other daily chores and activities, making rugs, frequent trips to Webster, Massachusetts, and neighborhood news about who was sick or whose house burned down. Of most interest are references to her husband Charles wanting to go to reunions of his Civil War company, but how his ill health prevented him. He served with Company N of the New York 2nd Cavalry.
