Autograph letter signed : London, to Noel Moore, 1896 Apr. 6.

Thanking him for a letter and wishing she could see him riding the big dog. Giving a sketch of Tom Thumb riding a mouse. Mentioning that she is going to Swanage next Monday, and referencing his trip to Felixtowe. Describing a visit to the zoo, noting that the big elephant is dead and that "it is going to be put in the museum." Mentioning the hyacinths in her garden, and noting that the "sparrows are naughty, they pull off the flowers." Noting that they build their nests in the gutter and that the Potters do not like this because the little birds fall onto their door-steps. Illustrated with sketches of bunnies, Tom Thumb on a mouse, a sick elephant crying in an armchair, a ferocious lion and sparrows.
