General description of the collection: The Lucien A. Campbell papers contain letters and V-Mail written to Campbell from his friends in the United States Army. The majority of the letters are from Tech 4, Harry S. Cooper. Cooper served in the same unit as Campbell, Service Company, 264th Infantry Regiment, 66th Division. The letters describe conditions of troops, the rations that they were issued places that they had been and what other members of the unit were doing.
