Allen W. Dodge Papers, 1831-1845.

New York lawyer who later studied theology. This collection consists of one folder of correspondence and four illustrated notebooks containing lectures from Andover Theological Seminary. The correspondence is from various individuals such as Edwin Buckingham, E. Paine, R. Hildreth, B. Poor, Francis Dodge (his uncle), C[aleb] Cushing, and P. Fletcher. The letters are mostly addressed to Dodge in New York City and one from his uncle Francis asked for insurance for the cargo on the Brig Rubicon.
