Marguerite Dalrymple Address, 1897

Address on Reverend William Bentley's mission to shut-ins, his perseverance, and the Dr. Bentley substitute for the sunday school. First given from memory on November 26, 1897 before the Women's Alliance of the Second Church, Salem (Mass.) and immediate after prepared this manuscript. She was in the East Church, then at the corner of Essex and Hardy Streets, on the Sunday when Bentley closed the service and started for Marblehead (Mass.) to help save the Constitution (Frigate).
