Mentions Francis Bacon and refers to the trouble caused by the execution of Mary, Queen of Scots: "Yt is reported that my Lord Hunsdon hath sent for a thousand horses which are in readyness, or else sent already with divers captaynes. Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon (4 March 1526 – 23 July 1596), was an English nobleman and courtier. He was the second child of William Carey and Mary Boleyn and a cousin of Queen Elizabeth I. Carey served twice as Member of Parliament; in 1559 he was created Baron by his first cousin Elizabeth I of England. Mary, Queen of Scots (1542-1587), also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scotland, was queen of Scotland from 1542 to 1567.
