Request for payment from John Addis [manuscript], 1619 December 17.

John Addis, officer of the Wardrobe for beds, requests to be paid 21 shillings and 4 pence for himself, his man, their horses and four laborers, having spent six days from Newmarket to Royston on his highness' service, "for takinge doune makinge vp & loading away all such stouff then requisit for his highnes service." Payment authorized by Sir Robert Cary, Chamberlain to the Prince (later Charles I), and to be paid by Adam Newton, receiver general to the prince.
