Autograph letter signed and telegram from John T. Raymond to William Winter [manuscript], 1882?-1886.

(1) Autograph letter signed concerning tickets he is sending Winter and thanks for the introduction to Mr. Floyd. On letterhead of Niblo's Garden Theatre, New York and signed from Johnny. Annotation by William Jefferson Winter: "John T. Raymond to Wm. Winter (mentions Wm.R. Floyd) (March - 1882)." Letter undated but year of Winter's annotation possibly wrong as Floyd died in 1880. (2) Telegram sent from Raymond in Baltimore to Mr. and Mrs. Winter in New York: "Mrs. Raymond joins me in hearfelt sympathy in your sad bereavement." Likely referring to the death of Winter's son, Arthur. Dated Jany 25, 1886.
