Printed form completed in Charleston, S.C., listing assessed value of six slaves furnished by Mims Ward of Marlboro [District, S.C.], for "service on the Coast," which generally involved construction of fortifications and earthworks. Document identifies six enslaved African Americans by name: Abram, Isaac, Boston, Lee, Job, and Tom. This form bears signatures of following officials: R.B. Johnson, Ag[en]t of the State; F. Nipson, for Confederate Authorities; and Jno. B. Moore, for owners.
