The collection consists chiefly of correspondence of Francis L. Berkeley, as a member of the Board of Trustees. Topics include the Thomas Jefferson Fellowships particularly one for Millicent Sowerby, and the immigration status of a student from England. With these are two clippings concerning the fellowhips. There is also a report to the Board from Virginius R. Shackelford, 1940, on the current affairs of the Association with a recommended plan of reorganization or the Elliott Memorandum.
