Pamphlet on "The University of Virginia and World Missions" [manuscript], no date.

Small folded card with information about the need for Christian missions in China, as it is "the main theatre in a worldwide struggle between two sharply contrasted forces [Russia and the U.S.] seeking to mould the civilization of tomorrow." Mission trips need to be aimed at reducing the "materialistic ideals" that Western culture impressed upon the Chinese. The committee on Foreign Missions encourages students to take part in this effort.
