J. J. Jusserand letters to Canon Augustus Jessopp, Mr. Putnam, Mrs. Daniel Manning and an unidentified "Mr. Secretary" and a quotation [manuscript] 1890-1917.

In an 1890 letter, Jusserand thanks Jessopp for information and a book, comments on St. William and Piers Plowman as old friends and notes that he continues to seek information about endowed societies and to work on his own "Literary History" and promises to send Jessopp a list of prizes awarded by Parisian academies. He thanks Mrs. Manning in 1917 for her nephew's proposed gift of an automobile to the American Ambulance Corps. An obituary of Jusserand is included. In a letter, 1903, Jusserand thanks the unidentified "Mr. Secretary" for a letter about Admiral DeGrasse which he has forwarded to the Foreign Minister. In a letter, 1906, he invites an unnamed friend to dinner. In 1911 he asks Putnam for a copy of A. C. Bradley's "Shakespearean tragedy" and asks if a second edition will be ready soon. There is also a quotation from Eustache Deschamps.
