Henry Arthur Jones letters [manuscript], 1906-1924.

In a letter to an unidentified recipient, 1906 December 2, Jones discusses dates for coming to Chicago and notes his interest in the success of repertory theaters. In a letter to Will Orton Tewson, 1921 December 21, Jones notes that "Marshall" has been elected to a dining club and that he has had surgery recently. He expresses gratitutde for the Philadelphia Ledger's vindication of his latest book [My dear Wells] and reports that he is working on a new one on G. Bernard Shaw. He is sending the New York Times an article on education which he thinks has had some influence in England and will be glad to send the Ledger occasional articles as well. He also expresses admiration for Atatole France. In a second letter to Tewson, 1924 December 28, Jones replies to a request for an article that he is busy with his book "What is Capital?" but if he has a suitable aritcle at any time he will send it.
