In a letter, 1818 April 15, Willard writes to Mrs. Hannah P. Davis regarding an invitation to leave Middlebury, Vt., and move her schol to Clinton, N.Y. and discussing the expense of moving, the encouragement of a Nancy Tredwell, and events at Middlebury College including mentions of the new President [Joshua] Bates and the departing [Henry] Davis. In a letter, 1838 February 28, to an unidentified recipient, Willard writes concerning a proposed visit to Albany, the birth of a grandson, preparations for examinations and her fatigue. In a letter, 1855 October 24, to a Mr. Philbrick, Willard encloses her impressions of the Examination (not included). In a letter, 1861 April 6, she sends warm greetings to "my dear nephew" and promises to visit.
