The James Towne adventure [manuscript], ca 1938.

A children's operetta proposed by the G. Schirmer Company, finished shortly before Harker's death, and then rejected by the company as publication costs were too high. With the operetta is a an explanatory note by Marion N. W. Morton discussing the opera and the life of Harke, the Scottish organist at the Vanderbilt mansion in North Carolina, and later at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Richmond and music teacher at Westhampton College.
