Papers of Carl Sandburg [manuscript], 1924-1945.

The collection contains three poems by Sandburg : "Cool tombs," "Fog," and "Primer lesson" with explanatory note by Frank L. Pleadwell. The collection also contains letters to William E. Barton, John Drinkwater, Thomas Gerson, Everett L. Getchell, Ben Miller, Harry Salpeter and Will Orton Tewson. There is also a letter from William L. Chevey. The collection also contains three magazine photographs and drawing of Sandburg.
