Papers of Alice Lee Patton Makielski [manuscript], 1915-1948, n.d.

The collection contains correspondence of Makielski and other family members, particularly her father, the Reverend Robert W. Patton, watercolors, a sketch book, family photographs, slides, and a postcard collection, chiefly European art and architecture. Of interest is a letter, 1915, from the Rev. T. D. Bratton concerning the Vicksburg Industrial School and enclosing a photograph of the students. The correspondence also includes letters from Stringfellow Barr and Allen Tate.
