Letters from John Ross to Reuben Crewdson and Peter Ross [manuscript] 1807 Apr. 19 and 1807 Jan. 18.

Ross writes to his father Peter Ross, 1807 January 18, concerning the wet weather, prices for agricultural commodities, and Aaron Burr's western expedition. Ross writes Peter Crewdson, 1807 April 19, giving reasons for the scarcity of corn, particularly the emigration of planter families with slaves and horses, and the wet weather and severe winter; sending news of family; commenting on Aaron Burr; and concluding with a request for Crewdson to handle a financial matter.
