Letter, postcards and autograph albums [manuscript] ca.1877-1898, n.d.

The collection includes a a note, 1898 Oct. 16, by Howard Winston concerning the release of Van Dyke Johns from Company M, 4th Virginia Regiment, Virginia Volunteers camped at Jacksonville, Florida and his subsequent death at his home in Alexandria, Va. of typhoid fever. Also, a postcard, n.d., to Miss Julia Wright, Millers, Va., from Mollie and a postcard, postmarked 1896 Nov. 10, from L. Fitzgerald to Miss Mary Rogers, Richmond, announcing a meeting of the St. Paul's Mission School teachers. Also, an autograph album of Alica Mayo and Sarah E. Blair, Randolph Macon College, Ashland, Va., ca.1877-1879; includes signatures of several students from the University of Virginia. Also, an autograph album, ca.1881-1884 of [Bettina?] or [Trixie?], containing Howard Wilnston's signature. Also, an autograph album, ca.1883-1885, of "Norma" from the Edgehill Female Institute, containing Howard Wilson's signature.
