The collection includes two drawings of a rotunda-plan house, circa 1800-1803, first identified by Fiske Kimball as "Shadwell," now believed to be the President's House in Washington, D.C.; two drawings of the Governor's House in Richmond; and a letter from Jefferson, 14 May 1819, to Wilson Cary Nicholas, in which Jefferson thanks Nicholas for his "kind aid in my little money embarrassments" and asks him to sign an enclosed note (not present); mentions that Thomas Jefferson Randolph will be moving to Tufton.
