Papers of the Lynchburg Foundry Company [manuscript] 1891-1919.

The collection contains a minute book, 1896-1926, of the Lynchburg Plow Co., diaries, 1891-96, 1898-1901, 1904 & 1909-14, of Henry Edward McWane and papers regarding the founding and early history of the company with references to the Glamorgan Pipe Company. Of interest is the 1909 diary which contains a detailed description of the Lusitania.
