Papers [manuscript] 1912-17.

Sonnets, 1916 March 26, Sunday morning, and Sunday afternoon, were written for a young nurse at the Biarritz hospital. With them is her account, ca. 1958, of their friendship. Also in the collection is a letter, 1912 June 2, Bayville, N.J., to Mrs. Van Rensselaer describing an adaption of a Breton lay and asking for a copy of the original. There is a short note, 1912, with a photograph, for a shipboard companion, a British Museum request slip, 1914, signed by him, and a letter, 1917 June 7, from his mother Elsie Simmons Adams Seeger to Clay Elliot answering an autograph request.
