The collection contains photographs, 1956-72, of a visit by the royal family to Skye, the investiture of the future chief, John MacLeod of MacLeod, and of successive clan parliaments. There are also clippings, brochures, & maps on the MacLeods, correspondence, including letters from Flora MacLeod of Macleod, membership lists, annual reports and programs from clan gatherings, and personal memorabilia of Mabelle MacLeod Luman of Crozet, Va. Printed material includes issues of The hold fast newsletter, edited by Mrs. Luman, and The Clan MacLeod magazine, as well as The Clan MacLeod by I.F. Grant, MacLeodsaga and MacCrimmonsaga by Arthur H. Rogers and a deck of playing cards in the MacLeod tartan.
