The papers contain drafts, 1938, of "The revolt of Martin Luther," and correspondece with Columbia University Press regarding its publication. The collection also contains a report to the trustees of the Oberlaender Trust on Educational and Cultural Projects examined during a mission to Germany and Austria, 1950, by Fife & Howard W. Elkinton and correspondence, 1950-52, regarding the Dept. of Germanic Languages at Columbia, and the International Auxiliary Language Association.
