Warwick relates family history and recalls his youth in Charlottesville and Clifton Forge, Va., his career at the University of Virginia with the Virginia State Geological Survey and his many activities and friends, his retirement in 1959 from the Virginia Geological Survey, his 50 years service award and letter of commendation from the governor, his wife's entering the St. John's Nursing Home, Lynchburg, Va., his good health, a 50 year award from the U. Va. Alumni Association, and a Daily progress article on him mentioning his student days, second career as a genealogist, and local anecdotes. With the memoirs are nine poems, 1934-72, by Warwick (accession 6030-a).
