The collection contains a letter, 1951 October 8, from Robert Tallant reporting on the sale of his book "Southern territory"; Newspaper articles, 1938 and 1940 by Rogers on Rebecca Harding Davis and a Virginia mountaineer; a newspaper article, 1957, on a Scotland vacation by Robert Chester Ruark; and the original pen and ink sketch by Rogers, 1957, used to illustrate Ruark's column.
