Abstract

The journal contains pages copied from the log book of the U.S. Preble on a voyage from Oahu to California, some miscellaneous notes and a sketch of the harbor at Benicia, Calif. Most of the pages have been cut out and the remainder used as a scrapbook by an unidentified person.
