Peter C. Sanford, son of Harold W. Sanford, editor of the Democrat and chronicle (Rochester, NY, newspaper). University of Virginia student from September 1938 to March 1941. On the editorial board of UVA student publication, Crust, to which he contributed articles in the November 1940 and February 1941 issues.
