The papers contain a bill, 1791 Aug. 16, submitted to the state of Connecticut for various legal fees, including assisting attorney Chauncey Goodrich; and a letter, 1806 Dec. 5, Hartford, Conn. to Elisha Colt, Hartford, Conn. requesting Colt, as Controller of Public Accounts to issue $200 from Trumbull's salary to Samuel Trumbull. Samuel Trumbull's receipt is on the verso.
