Husband Edward Kimmel (February 26, 1882 – May 14, 1968) was born in Henderson, Kentucky. He was nicknamed variously "Kim", "Hubbie" and "Mustafa", the last being a reference to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, due to the similar homophone between "Kimmel" and "Kemal".
