Letters regarding military education at the University of Virginia, [manuscript] 1826 Sep 22 and Oct 2.

Robley Dunglison writes to the Board, 1826 Oct 2, enclosing a September 22 letter of William Matthews concerning the position of military instructor and Matthews's recommendations for the proposed school. Dunglinson informs the Board that the Faculty have declined to hire Matthews until they know the salary for the position.
