Confidential report to the Lords of the Admiralty [manuscript], 1780 February 23.

A draft of a "most secret" report to the Lords of the Admiralty, Whitehall, conveys intelligence information concerning the vulnerability of the Spanish Territories in the Gulf of Mexico, and plans for British forces to exploit this situation and send troops to Jamaica to protect the British interests in Pensacola and the Province of West Florida against the possible attacks of the Spanish Governors of Cuba and New Orleans.
