The papers consist chiefly of newsletters from the Omicron Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the University of Virginia. The newsletters speak of: new initiates and officers; athletics; scholastics; alumni reunions, weddings and deaths; and the passing of Beta, the University of Virginia mascot. Also included is Richard Davenport Gilliam, Jr.'s certificate of initiation from the Omicron Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the university.
