Papers of Zink concern his grievance and legal efforts to seek redress for termination of employment for exposing alleged corruption and misuse of state funds and employees, and the illegal manufacturing of equipment in the department for private sale. Papers include correspondence with Dr. Lawrence Cranberg; memoranda, legal documents, miscellaneous related papers and Zink's 1995 memoir "Working for scientists and higher education: my experiences working for the University of Virginia" and his 1997 "A rebuttal to the memorandum of John W. Garber, Dirctor, Division of Personnel (State of Virginia).
