The collection consists of 25 letters, chiefly from Anne Douglas Sedgwick discussing the publication of "Dark Hester," "Forsaken Temple," "The Old Countess," and "Phillipa"; literary contract negotiations; travel; Ferris Greenslet; Miss Sinclair (May Sinclair?); the real-life model for "Alix"; and the death of her mother.
