Papers of Blanche Chenery Perrin [manuscript], 1962, 1999.

The papers include a carbon typescript of Perrin's memoir of her Ashland, Virginia, girlhood "Time out of mind," a brief outline of her unpublished biography of Sally Tompkins; and a letter from the National Archives and Records Service, 1962, concerning service by women in the Civil War. With these is an article from the Washington Post Book World, 1999 August 8, by Noel Perrin concerning the placing of his mother's papers in the Special Collections Dept., University of Virginia Library.
