Papers of the Harrison family [manuscript],f1853-1930.

The papers consist chiefly of personal correspondence and miscellany of Robert L. Harrison, a University of Virginia graduate residing in New York City. The correspondence consists mainly of greeting cards and form letters from charitable organizations and clubs. In addition the collection contains a pen-and-ink sketch of Harrison; school exercises and essays; a statement concerning the Virginia-West Virginia debt controversy; a University of Virginia graduation program, 1890; an article about the Associated Press and news monopolies, 1914; and a ballot for a 1928 convention of the Episcopal Diocese of New York.
