Correspondence, printed matter and other papers deal with general social, religious, and educational conditions in the counties of King and Queen and Nottaway, Va., where Sydnor was superintendent of schools. Includes "Elementary lessons in English, pt. 1," by Nelly Lloyd Knox Heath,1880; "Richardson's almanac" compiled by David Richardson, and the "Southern almanac for 1863" compiled by C.A. Schaffter.
