With these is a letter, 1774 March 2, from Edward Foy, secretary to Lord Dunmore, to Edward Hand, Philadelphia, Pa., concerning Hand's purchase of lands under dispute between Virginia and Pennsylvania and advises Hand on the legal procedures for securing proper title to these.
